Who We Are
Dringhouses Out of School Club is a committee-run registered charity (No. 1199392) based at Dringhouses Primary School in York.

We provide high-quality childcare for up to 100 children from Reception to Year 6, offering: breakfast club, after-school club and holiday club
We aim to provide a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued, and free to play, learn, and develop.

We actively consult with children about the activities they enjoy and involve them in planning experiences, encouraging independence and confidence.
Our Ofsted & Feedback
Our most recent Ofsted inspection was in April 2024, when we were awarded a “Met” grading — the highest judgement available for out of school clubs.

Inspectors described the club as a:
“caring and nurturing environment for children”

They also noted that:
“Staff show a genuine interest in what the children have to say, which further contributes to the positive relationships.”
